Get involved

Four ways
to take part

Give, volunteer, host, or partner. Each one moves the same mission forward — pick the one that fits your time and your skills.

Donate

Your support funds programs that transform lives.

Volunteer

Join our global community of changemakers.

Host an event

Bring World Bindi Day to your community or organisation.

Partner with us

Collaborate with us to create greater impact together.

Volunteer

We need more than hands on event day.

Photographers, translators, teachers, designers, accountants, drivers, greeters, and people who are simply good at making others feel welcome. Tell us what you are good at and roughly how much time you have.

Most roles are remote and flexible. Event roles are local and usually a single day.

Host an event

From first email to final report

Hosting follows four stages. Most first-time hosts go from application to event in about three months.

Apply

A short form: your city, the kind of gathering you have in mind, and roughly how many people you expect.

Plan together

You get the toolkit, print-ready design files, a run-of-show template, and a scheduled call with your named contact.

Celebrate

You run the day. We supply speaker notes, the story archive, and support on the phone if anything goes sideways.

Report back

Share attendance, funds raised, and photos. A share of what you raise stays with your community.

Partner with us

For companies, campuses, and community organisations.

Partnerships range from sponsoring a single workshop cohort to funding a full year of grants. We also work with employee resource groups on cultural programming, and with universities on student chapters.

Every partnership comes with a written agreement on how your name is used and a report on exactly what your funding delivered.

Questions

Before you sign up

No. World Bindi Day is open to everyone. What we ask is that participants come to understand the meaning behind what they are celebrating — which is exactly what our programs are for.

Event roles are usually one day. Ongoing remote roles average two to four hours a month. You set the limit and we will work within it.

Yes. Campus and workplace celebrations are among our most common formats. The toolkit includes versions sized for a lunch hour, an evening, and a full day.

World Bindi Day is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation in the United States, so donations from US taxpayers are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a receipt by email. Rules differ elsewhere — check with a local advisor.

Often, yes — venue space, printing, catering, and professional services are all useful. Send us the details and we will tell you honestly whether we can use it well.

Not sure where you fit?

Send us a note about what you can offer and we will point you to the place it will do the most good.
